Overview

Straighten your wall — without tearing up the yard

Gorilla Wall Braces® are the only Professional Engineer-Stamped DIY solution to straighten bowing basement walls. The patented system pushes off three floor joists, giving it vastly more strength than competing braces that use only one.

Installation typically takes about 30 minutes per brace — most homeowners complete a full wall in a single day, without excavating the exterior or removing the concrete floor. By regularly tightening the adjustment screw, most walls can be straightened over time.

Watch this customer video review to see before-and-after results from a severely bowed basement wall repaired for under $4,000.

Installation

How it works

1

Confirm your joist direction

Look up at the joists over the bowing wall. Running into the wall? This perpendicular brace is the right choice.

2

Mount the bracket to a joist

The patented bracket lags onto the side of a floor joist — your home becomes the anchor point.

3

Set the steel beam

Stand your cut-to-length steel beam against the wall and seat it into the idler.

4

Tighten gradually

Use the torque wrench to apply pressure. Over days or weeks, snug it further to walk the wall back to plumb.

What homeowners say

"Wall was bowing almost two inches. Installed four braces in an afternoon and it has not moved since. A contractor quoted me $14,000 — this cost a fraction of that."

"The joist diagram on the product page is what sold me — I finally understood I needed the perpendicular version. Hardware is seriously beefy and the instructions are clear."

"Great product. Only note: order your steel beams early, they are NOT included. Once I had the steel it went together in one Saturday."
